start your lunch beautifully with a furoshiki wrapped bento

Furoshiki (風呂敷) are a type of traditional Japanese wrapping cloth traditionally used to transport clothes, gifts, or other goods..

Eating from a beautifully prepared bento box can make any lunch feel special. Wrapping your bento in classic furoshiki style is simple and can add an extra moment of grace to your lunch experience.

In the video below, professional wrapper Louise Lewis shows how easy it is to use this Japanese technique to make your kinsho bento into an even lovlier lunch time gift to yourself or your family. Try picking up a pretty fabric that measures 27.5″/70cm square to create your own!
